These lamps are just lovely. I was so pleased with the first one, I bought a second. These are perfect in our downstairs living area which is a bit dark and cavernous. The lamps are warm and inviting. Very easy to assemble and lightweight. The shade looks more yellow in the Amazon picture, but the shade is white. I highly recommend these lamps.

Love, love, love this lamp! It appears a little plain when you first put it together but when you flip that power switch on it looks gorgeous! My husband even loves it (which never happens). I felt a little intimidated when I opened the box, but putting it together was a snap. And the variable brightness settings come in handy. Very happy with this purchase.
